Job Summary:

• Provide competent and appropriate nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring systematic and comprehensive assessments.
• Perform direct patient care activities, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhering to established guidelines.
• Demonstrate professionalism by following policies, procedures, and identifying areas for clinical growth.
• Promote patient satisfaction by responding courteously and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure safety by adhering to National Patient Safety Goals and using proper body mechanics.
• Individualize patient care based on conditions, procedures, and anesthesia types.
• Support Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) by evaluating orders and ensuring timely completion of patient testing.
